The intelligent Reception behavior depends on variables such as: time of the day, type of visitor, nature of the visit, identity of the visitor, the presence or absence of the receptionist, the availability of the remote receptionist, the duration of the absence of the receptionist, security requirements, etc.

The system recognizes, authenticates, identifies and registers the visitor, informs the contact person, prints badges, allows pre-registration using QR or other codes, updates the Visitor Management System, creates reports, etc.

Both the Teleportel Avatar (i.e. the intelligent, interactive Automatic Reception Service) and the Receptionist (residing in the Remote location), appear in front of the visitor, featuring Holographical Reality™: life-sized, in 3D and with aligned eye-contact. There is no visible camera nor screen: the Avatar and the Remote Agent appear as if they are really physically present. Most visitors do not realize that this is actually not a real person.
