The RealReceptionist BASIC features a 24' Touch Screen and is available as a desk-top and as a wall-mount unit. A separate leaflet of the BASIC is available on the website.
The BASIC system model is also available in a bigger format screen
i.e. 32' and in 43' : the XL-32 and XL-43.
Typically used as a wallmount . The XL comes with a VESA mount. The visitor simply walks up the screen and touches the screen. Or uses the display 'touchlessly' by waiving the hand in front of the system. This suffices to establish the live interaction with a receptionist in a remote location.
The XL also available featuring an optional 'floor-stand' foot. The foot is best placed directly behind the (lower) working table of the Receptionist, where the chair of the receptionist would be. We recommend that the bottom bezel of the screen matches the (lower) table surface of the reception desk. This strengthens the sense of presence and adds to the illusion of presence. Every visitor will understand immediately and intuitively what the purpose is (i.e. In Person Video Receptionist). To initiate the call, an optional device is placed on top of the higher part of the counter. The visitor simply hovers his hand above this device (no need to touch anything) to establish the connection. The instruction is simple : a clear indication of how to do that is shown on the screen.
The Projective Capacitive (PCAP) touch technology with 12 touch points ensures a seamless and accurate touch response. With its AMVA3 LED panel, it offers exceptional colour performance, high contrast and wide viewing angles. Featuring a metal housing with a 60950-1 ball-drop proof, scratch-resistant, edge-to-edge glass, this display can be installed in the most demanding environments and build in different set-ups as a result of its Open Frame side mounting holes.

See description XL-32. The touch technology uses a sensor-grid of micro-fine wires integrated into the glass that covers the screen. Touch is detected because electrical characteristics of the sensor grid change when human finger is placed on the glass. Thanks to the glass overlay this technology is highly durable, and the touch function remains unaffected even if the glass is scratched. It offers perfect picture performance and will work with human finger (also latex gloved) and stylus-pen.
